Café hopping is a trend in Malaysia nowadays especially amongst hipsters and young people. It simply means going from one cafe to another practically trying out every cafe in town!

Restaurants like café have picked up on this trend as a result it became a new wave of ‘Insta-friendly’ restaurants.

“Cafés are a “instagrammable” culture because we all tend to portray the pretty side of our lives rather than the ugly truth on social media. We find a beautiful spot, pose there with a glass of coffee as if that’s my glamorous daily life,” she said.
